Download sublime text 3 without vpn available

I want to download sumblime text 3 which could be touched via GFW
and something is wrong with Ubuntu 14.04 when I try to connect my VPN
An equal way was thought out by me :D
1.use ssh to connect my VPN
ssh 199.*.*.* -l root
2.download sublime text3
wget *.deb
3.copy it from remote to local
scp -p root@199.*.*.*:/home/*.deb /home/ffff/Downloads/
4.install it:D
dkpg -i *.deb
enjoy it~
