read linux kernle in eclipse - to be continued
---恢复内容开始---
First , we need to download eclipse from website , we need not install it but just decompress and double click to start the application .
after eclipse opens , we select File > New > Makefile Project with existing Code .
we have no need to build the source but just read using its c/c++ indexer function , so de-select Project > Build Automatically .
as the huge code amount of the kernel , we need to wait for almost 5 minutes to complete its indexer .
now lets begin our source code travel !
- see the verbose (detail or default ) link script :
ld -verbose
now we just conclude such a table to reflect the actual work before going start_kerne() ;
let‘s see something about device tree . as we can see ,the same core can be applied to different chip , such ARM9TDMI being implemented as S3C2440 AND S3C2416 , and almost little difference remains . the same chip can be applied to different machine , for S3C2440 ,we have FL2440 , FRIENDLY 2440 , TINY 2440 .
we know all of the chip or board can have the same initialization and usage code , we need to do something for them instead of creating a separate folder on linux kernel directory and write the implementation directly .
It‘s not finished , i will continue to edit this blog , sorry now .
